Announcement and Resident Survey
Important Announcement
Greetings District 7 Residents, and Happy President’s Day!
Today I’m excited to announce confirmation of an upcoming change … I have verified receipt by our Town Clerk of 77 signatures to place my name on the ballot as a candidate for the Board of Selectmen in the 2020 Town Election.
How will this impact my service to you for Town Meeting? It brings me great pleasure to say that regardless of the outcome of this upcoming election, I will still be able to fulfill my Town Meeting duties that you elected me for. I’ll either get to serve as an “at large” member if I am elected to the Selectmen, or I’ll continue the remaining 2 years of my term as a District 7 member if I don’t. I’m excited to continue my Town Meeting service to you.
Introducing: Resident Survey
I also want to start this year off by fulfilling a campaign promise from my run for Town Meeting back in 2019. I told you that after establishing the year 1 baselines, I would be exploring a survey for residents, to gather your feedback. Today I’m excited to launch the first survey! Click here to participate.
Because I am now running for Selectman, I have widened the survey to allow residents who live outside District 7 to participate too. I am also happy to hear from residents even if they don’t plan to vote for me. As a resident of Norwood, your feedback matters.

As always, my voting record and Committee activities are available on the Updates page by clicking here.
You entrusted me to faithfully serve in Town Meeting, and I take that very seriously. I would be extra honored to have your vote for Selectman now as well. Whether you’re a lifelong home owner or a brand new renter, I look forward to continuing to help all Norwood residents as a public servant.
Thank you for being an engaged resident of Norwood!
With Sincerity,
Amanda Grow
