Here to serve our town and our community

Collaborative

Ready To Serve

“I’m a proud independent voter who is not - nor have I ever been - enrolled with any political party in our Commonwealth. This will make me a great fit for the Board of Selectmen, where working together is key to keeping things running. I’m happy to collaborate with anyone who wants to work toward the public good, whether they’re in a party or not. The strength of our democracy is the wisdom of the crowd! We may not always agree, but the best solutions come from pooling together ideas and talking through them to find the best ones.”

Knowledgeable

Ready To Be A Light Commissioner

“I am thrilled to serve in the capacity of energy and technology oversight! Norwood is one of only a few towns in Massachusetts where the Selectmen double as the Light Commissioners. Our municipal light department is responsible not only for our power around town, but also internet and broadband services. I have a long career in online software as a service. In my spare time, I have spent years studying the nuances of the US power grid, energy technologies, and energy regulations because I enjoy it. I will be a fully attentive Light Commissioner who can happily engage with the Light Department Team on everything from infrastructure particulars to cyber security, and more!”

Experienced

Ready To Represent Norwood

“I am no stranger to civic lobbying and procedures. I’m an Elected Town Meeting Member; have been appointed to the Town Rules Committee twice; been elected by Norwood LWV to serve as Secretary and Vice President; selected by our Senator for CLS at the Statehouse; lobbied local, state, and federal officials regularly (and successfully); and I’ve stood in the legislative chamber of every branch of our government. I’m 100% comfortable representing the interests of Norwood to the General Court of the Commonwealth.”

Proactive

Ready To Tackle Climate Emergencies

“When it comes to Climate, being a Selectman is about more than just reviewing renewable energy projects. It also means being able to pivot quickly when disaster strikes. I take the threat of Climate disasters and Public Health concerns very seriously. When the Pandemic broke out during my previous campaign, overnight I shifted my efforts to getting residents as much information as I could, vetting resources, and helping however I could. I’ve been studying disaster procedures from MEMA and other Municipal trainings. Expect that as a Selectman I’m going to bring that same energy. I want our First Responders and Public Works teams to have what they need to meet the challenge of Climate threats in Town, and for all our residents to have the support they need to be resilient.”

Invested in Norwood

“I’ve lived in town since 2007 as a renter, and now I’m a homeowner! I use the Norwood Light for not just internet, but also for my electric car, home heating, and more! I figure why give my fuel and heating money to some nameless oil corporation, when I can give to my town instead?”

What’s with the blue hair?

“I like to show civic pride! I match my hair with red and white during important occasions like the 4th of July, US Election days, or just any time when it’s time to be patriotic. I use white when I want to show my pride for our Massachusetts flag. And I add yellow when I want to celebrate our town colors. I’m ready to celebrate our town, state, and nation at any time!”

Helping you stay informed & involved

Dedicated to transparency.

“Our Commonwealth is rare in the union for having the Right of Free Petition for all our citizens, and the ability to directly create bills, laws, and amendments by gathering signatures right from the people! That means anyone can participate in our State and local governments … but sometimes it’s hard. Busy schedules, family obligations, or just not knowing where to go to get information. I want to help you.

If you vote for me on April 4th, 2022 I will continue to expand resources to help you stay informed and connected with what’s happening in your Town Government. I’m excited to collaborate with the Town Clerk, the Town Manager, Committees, other Town Meeting members, and Officials in town to make it easier than ever for you to follow along with, and have a voice in, what goes on in your town. It’s your right as a citizen of the Commonwealth and resident of Norwood.
